• Micro-teaching is a teacher-training technique where a "scaled-down" teaching session (usually 5–10 minutes with 5–10 peers) is conducted to master a specific teaching skill.
The Cycle: The most critical part of the Micro-teaching cycle is the Feedback session. Immediately after the lesson ends, the trainee receives feedback from supervisors or peers (or by watching a video recording of themselves).
The Purpose: This immediate information allows the trainee to Re-plan and Re-teach the lesson right away to correct mistakes. Without immediate feedback, the cycle cannot function.
