Answer:

B. Rs.1000

Read Explanation:

Given:

Investment of A, B and C together = Rs. 47,000

Investment of A = Investment of B + Rs. 7,000

Investment of B = Investment of C + Rs. 5,000

Total profit of A, B and C together = Rs. 4700

Concept used:

Profit = Amount×Time{Amount}\times{Time}

Calculation:

Let the investment of C be x.

B's investment = x + 5000

A's investment = x + 5000 + 7000

(A + B + C)'s  investment = 47000

⇒ x + x + 5000 + x + 5000 + 7000 = 47000

⇒ 3x + 17000 = 47000

⇒ 3x = 47000 – 17000

⇒ 3x = 30000

x=300003⇒x=\frac{30000}{3}

⇒ x = 10000

A's investment = 10000 + 12000 = 22000

B's investment = 10000 + 5000 = 15000

C's investment = 10000

Ratio of investment of A, B and C = 22000 : 15000 : 10000

⇒ 22 : 15 : 10

Share of C = 1047×4700\frac{10}{47}\times{4700}

⇒ 10×\times100

⇒ 1000

∴ The correct answer is Rs 1000 which is the share of C.
