The Kerala PSC 10th Level Preliminary Examination 2026 is the first and most important stage in the recruitment process for candidates applying to SSLC / 10th standard–based posts under the Kerala Public Service Commission. This common screening examination shortlists eligible candidates for the respective 10th Level Main Examinations conducted for various government departments in Kerala.

Kerala PSC has scheduled the 10th Level Preliminary Examination 2026 in multiple stages, and candidates should carefully note the updated exam timings and dates. The Stage 1 and Stage 2 examinations will be conducted on the same day, creating an important opportunity for aspirants preparing for various SSLC-level government posts.

The examination is scheduled for 18 July 2026 (Saturday). The First Stage exam will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:35 AM, while the Second Stage exam will take place in the afternoon from 1:30 PM to 3:05 PM. Candidates appearing for both stages should plan their travel and preparation accordingly to avoid last-minute confusion.

Kerala PSC has also announced that the Third and Fourth Stage examinations of the 10th Level Prelims will be conducted on 01 August 2026. Since the 10th prelims exam is one of the most competitive Kerala PSC examinations, candidates are advised to complete their revision early and regularly check their PSC Thulasi profile for admit card updates and official notifications.
