The Kerala Public Service Commission has officially scheduled the BEVCO Lower Division Clerk (LDC) Preliminary Examination 2026 for candidates who applied under Category No. 619/2025. The examination will be conducted on July 18, 2026 (Saturday) as a statewide preliminary screening test. Due to disruptions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the written examination for this notification was delayed and was eventually conducted on 6 May 2023. The exam followed the standard PSC format, consisting of 100 objective-type questions, and notably, there was no negative marking. The examination was held across various centers in Kerala, and the turnout demonstrated the popularity and competitiveness of the post.
Following the exam, the final ranked list was published on 6 February 2024. It included candidates under the main list, supplementary list, and differently abled categories. The Kerala PSC began issuing advice memos for appointments on 14 May 2025, and the process is currently progressing based on district-wise vacancies. In accordance with PSC rules, the validity of this ranked list will extend until February 2027, unless a new list is published earlier.
