True to its word, the commission issued the official notification on December 31, 2024, with category number 740/2024. The category number of WCPO Notification is 582 / 2024.

    Who is CPO?

      (Born between January 2, 1995, and January 1, 2005)

    • OBC Candidates: Upper age limit extended to 29 years.

    • SC/ST Candidates: Upper age limit extended to 31 years.

    2. Educational Qualification

    • Candidates must have passed the Plus Two examination conducted by the Kerala Higher Secondary Board or any equivalent examination recognized by the Government of Kerala or India.

    3. Physical Standards

    For Male Candidates (CPO):

    • Height: Minimum 165 cm.
      (For SC/ST candidates: Minimum 160 cm)

    • Chest: Minimum 81 cm (with an expansion of at least 5 cm).

    For Female Candidates (WCPO):

    • Height: Minimum 157 cm.
      (For SC/ST candidates: Minimum 150 cm)

    4. Physical Fitness

    Candidates must meet the required physical efficiency standards, including performing in events such as long jump, high jump, and others as part of the Physical Efficiency Test (PET).

    Certificate Verification

    Exam Date

    According to the PSC annual calendar released on January 1, 2025, it was announced that the CPO and WCPO Mains exams would be held in the months of May-June. The PSC has now released the exam dates accordingly. The Mains exams for the posts of CPO and WCPO will be held on May 17.

    Confirmation Date

    Before the exam, candidates must provide confirmation through their one-time registration profile. Only those who provide confirmation will be able to generate and download the admission ticket. The applications of candidates who do not provide confirmation within the specified time will be unconditionally rejected.
