Candidates must meet the following academic criteria to apply for KTET Category 3 as a Physical Science teacher:
Bachelor’s Degree (B.Sc.) in Physics, Chemistry, or a related discipline with at least 45% marks from a recognized university.
(40% marks for SC/ST and differently abled candidates; 42.5% for OBC.)
B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) in Physical Science or a related subject recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).
Those in the final year of their B.Ed. program are also eligible to apply, provided they can produce proof of completing their degree during document verification.
There is no upper age limit for KTET Category 3, making it accessible to candidates at any stage of their career.
Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan has officially released the KTET Category III – Physical Science December 2025 notification on December 22, 2025. Along with the notification, the online application process has begun and will remain open until December 30, 2025. Candidates intending to appear for the KTET Category III Physical Science examination should complete the application process within the specified dates. The KTET December 2025 examination is expected to be conducted on February 21 and February 23, 2026.

The Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (KTET) Category III – Physical Science examination is scheduled to be held on February 23, 2026. This examination is a crucial step for candidates aspiring to become high school Physical Science teachers in Kerala.
As per the official schedule issued by Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan, the examination will be conducted in two shifts:
Shift 1 (10:00 AM – 12:30 PM): Category III – Physical Science
Shift 2 (2:00 PM – 4:30 PM): Category IV
Category III candidates will appear in the morning session, while Category IV candidates will attend the afternoon session. Candidates must reach the examination centre well in advance and carry their hall ticket and valid photo ID.

Register Your Details
Click New Registration and enter basic details like your name, date of birth, email, and mobile number to create your account. A registration ID and password will be generated.
Login & Fill the Application Form
Use your registration credentials to log in and complete the application form. Provide accurate personal and educational details as required.
Upload Required Documents
Upload scanned copies of your passport-size photograph and signature in the specified format and size (as per official instructions).
Select KTET Category(s)
Choose the KTET category (I, II, III, IV) you are applying for depending on the level of teaching you target.
Pay the Application Fee Online
Pay the application fee using online payment options (credit/debit card, net banking, or UPI). Fee amounts typically vary by category and candidate type.
Submit and Download
After payment, review all details, submit the form, and download/print the confirmation page for future reference.
✔ Submit the application well before the last date, as applications are accepted only in online mode.
✔ Keep a printed copy of the submitted application for admit card download and verification purposes.

Candidates must download the admit card by logging in using their Application Number, ID, and Category. Entry to the examination hall will not be allowed without a valid admit card.
