    KTET 3  Social science specifically targets individuals aspiring to teach social science at the upper primary and high school levels.     Eligibility Criteria for KTET 3 Social Science

    1. Educational Qualifications:

      • Candidates must hold a B.A. or B.Sc. degree in Social Science (History, Geography, Economics, or Political Science) with a minimum of 45% marks.

      • A B.Ed. degree in Social Science is mandatory.

    2. Age Limit: There is no upper age limit for KTET.

    3. Nationality: Candidates must be Indian citizens and preferably residents of Kerala.

    Exam date

    KTET Category III - Social science exam for 2025 is scheduled to take place on January 19, 2025. It will be conducted in the morning shift from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM. The KTET examination process includes offline, pen-and-paper tests to evaluate candidates aspiring to teach higher classes .The application process for KTET 2025 began on November 11, 2024, and the last date to apply was November 20, 2024. Admit cards will be available for download starting January 8, 2025​

    The Language subject assesses the candidate’s proficiency in Malayalam/ English/ Tamil/ Kannada.
