    • An Indian citizen, or

    • A person of Indian origin migrated from select countries intending to settle permanently in India.

    Educational Qualification

    • Must have passed Class 10 (Matriculation) or its equivalent from a recognized board by the application closing date.

    Age Limit

    • 18 to 25 years: For MTS and Havaldar in CBN

    • 18 to 27 years: For Havaldar in CBIC

    Age Relaxation

    • SC/ST: 5 years

    • OBC: 3 years

    • PwD (Unreserved): 10 years

    • PwD (OBC): 13 years

    According to the revised pay scale, the monthly salary for MTS posts ranges between ₹18,000 to ₹22,000, including basic pay, grade pay, and central government allowances.

    SSC MTS Job Profile

    MTS Job Role

    MTS staff are expected to carry out various support tasks in government offices, including:

    • Maintenance of records

    • Physical movement of files

    • Photocopying, faxing, and general paperwork

    Havaldar Job Role (CBIC/CBN)
