Now let's look at the syllabus of the MAINS exam. The Mains exam will have two papers of 100 marks each. Two papers of 1 hour and 15 minutes each will contain 100 questions each. Each question will be worth one mark. There is a negative marking of 0.33 marks for each wrong answer. Paper 1 General Studies will be held in the morning and Paper 2 in the afternoon.
