The Kerala PSC Village Field Assistant (VFA) is an important grassroots-level post under the Revenue Department of the Government of Kerala. Candidates preparing for the Kerala PSC Village Field Assistant (VFA) recruitment can now begin their final phase of preparation, as the examination schedule has been officially released. The Kerala Public Service Commission has fixed the Village Field Assistant Exam 2026 under Category Number 571/2025 for Saturday, 19 September 2026, bringing clarity to thousands of aspirants waiting for the next stage of the selection process. The exam will be conducted in three phases according to your district.

September 19: Thiruvananthapuram, Idukki, Pathanamthitta, Wayanad, Malappuram
October 17: Kottayam, Alappuzha, Thrissur, Kozhikode, Kasaragod
October 31: Palakkad, Kollam, Ernakulam, Kannur
The Village Field Assistant Admit Card 2026 will be available for download from 5 September 2026 onwards. Candidates can log in to their Kerala PSC Thulasi account and download the admission ticket well in advance of the examination date. It is advisable to verify all details on the admit card, including the examination centre, reporting time, and personal information.
Although candidates from all 14 districts have applied, only candidates from the five districts included in the first phase are currently eligible to download their admission tickets. The hall ticket for the first phase is expected to be available shortly on the Kerala PSC website.
A total of 5,97,615 candidates have applied for the Village Field Assistant recruitment across Kerala. Among them, 1,60,686 candidates have confirmed their participation in the first phase alone.
Overall, 12 candidates are competing for every single vacancy in the Village Field Assistant recruitment. However, since the number of vacancies varies from district to district, the actual level of competition will differ across regions.
The district with the highest number of applicants is Thiruvananthapuram, with 84,258 applications, while Wayanad has the lowest number of applicants, with 17,718 applications.
The examination is expected to be highly competitive, especially in districts with a larger number of applicants.
